TDA8944J

The TDA8944J is a discontinued, dual-channel (stereo) Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) audio power amplifier IC from Philips (now NXP), capable of delivering 2 x 7 Watts into an 8Ω load with a 12V supply, featuring fixed gain, mute/standby modes, and built-in protection, ideal for mains-fed audio like TVs or PCs. It uses an all-NPN output stage, comes in a 17-pin power package, and is known for few external components and ripple rejection.
